Thalictrum delavayi 'Album' P11

Thalictrum delavayi ‘Album’ – White Chinese Meadow Rue

Thalictrum delavayi ‘Album’, often known as ‘Alba’, brings clouds of delicate white flowers above finely divided, pale-green foliage. Its slender, branching stems create an airy display in summer, adding height and lightness to partially shaded borders without hiding neighbouring plants.

This hardy, deciduous perennial typically reaches 120–150cm tall and approximately 50–60cm wide, becoming taller in ideal conditions.

Grow in partial shade, in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Shelter from strong winds, water during dry spells and provide discreet support if needed.

Beautiful alongside ferns, hostas and astrantias, it offers a graceful contrast to bold foliage. Cut back dead stems in late autumn or winter.
