Muscari- 'Mount Hood' 10cm

Muscari ‘Mount Hood’ is a fresh and elegant take on the classic grape hyacinth. Growing 15–20 cm tall, it produces dense spikes of pale, icy blue to almost white flowers, opening soft sky-blue and fading to snow-white as they mature. The effect is crisp, clean, and wonderfully calming — like a breath of alpine air in spring.

It thrives in full sun to partial shade, in well-drained soil, and is perfectly happy in borders, rock gardens, containers, or naturalised through grass. Hardy and unfussy, it returns reliably each year with minimal attention.

Interesting fact: Unlike many Muscari, ‘Mount Hood’ changes colour as it flowers, giving a single spike a subtle gradient — a neat botanical trick that keeps things interesting without making a fuss.
