Liriope muscari 'Monroe White'

Liriope muscari ‘Monroe White’ – White Lilyturf

Liriope muscari ‘Monroe White’ is an elegant evergreen, grass-like perennial, prized for its dense clumps of glossy, dark green, arching leaves and striking spikes of pure white, bell-shaped flowers. Flowering from August to October, its upright flower spikes rise just above the foliage, providing a beautiful contrast and welcome colour in shaded gardens.

Growing approximately 30–40cm tall and 30–45cm wide, this compact, clump-forming perennial thrives in partial to full shade in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Once established, it tolerates dry shade, making it an excellent choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, evergreen ground cover, edging pathways and planting beneath shrubs.

RHS hardiness: H5 (-15 to -10°C).
