Anemone hupehensis 'Splendens' 2 litre

A wonderful late flowering perennial with gorgeous pink flowers with a golden ring of stamens in the centre. It flowers profusely from late August through to October. It takes a year to settle in, but once established it generously spreads, so be careful where you plant it! It likes full sun or, preferably, part shade, and will spread amongst established shrubs with ease to extend the flowering season. Superb for cut flowers and bouguets.

It is a relatively compact form, growing up to 80cm or so in height. Give it a good, fertile soil for best flowers. Make sure it is well drained to avoid root rot in the winter.
