Hosta 'Golden Tiara' RHS AGM 1 litre

Hosta ‘Golden Tiara’ – Variegated Plantain Lily

Hosta ‘Golden Tiara’ is a compact deciduous perennial, with heart-shaped green leaves edged with bright golden-yellow margins. Attractive, bell-shaped, lavender-purple flowers on upright stems during summer.

Growing approximately 30–40cm tall and 60–90cm wide, this hardy, clump-forming hosta thrives in partial to full shade, preferring moist, fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil. It tolerates some morning sunshine, which helps maintain its vibrant golden margins, and is more tolerant of occasional dryness than many hostas once established.

An excellent choice for shady borders, woodland gardens, edging pathways, ground cover and containers, ‘Golden Tiara’ provides beautiful foliage contrast and seasonal colour. Its compact habit, vigorous growth and attractive flowers make it particularly suitable for smaller gardens and naturalistic planting.
