Actaea 'Chocoholic' P9

Actaea simplex 'Chocoholic'

Actaea simplex 'Chocoholic' is a spectacular, compact, shade-loving perennial prized for its deeply divided, rich chocolate-purple foliage and elegant, upright spires of fragrant, pale pink flowers that gradually fade to creamy white. Flowering in late summer and early autumn, this striking dark-leaved Actaea provides wonderful contrast among ferns, hostas and other woodland plants. Its beautifully scented flowers attract pollinators, while the almost black foliage adds dramatic colour to shaded borders throughout the growing season.
