Athyrium filix-femina ‘Vernoniae Cristatum’

Athyrium filix-femina ‘Vernoniae Cristatum’ is an elegant Lady Fern, with finely divided, fresh-green fronds with distinctive forked and crested tips. These delicate, tassel-like formations give the foliage an intricate, feathery appearance, bringing beautiful texture and movement to shaded gardens. Forming a graceful, arching clump, this deciduous fern is particularly attractive in woodland borders, alongside hostas and other shade-loving perennials. Easy to grow in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil, it thrives in partial or full shade and benefits from shelter against strong winds. An excellent choice for fern collectors and gardeners seeking something a little different.
