Tiarella 'Angel Wings' RHS AGM P9

Tiarella ‘Angel Wings’

Tiarella ‘Angel Wings’ is a beautiful semi-evergreen, shade-loving perennial, prized for its deeply divided, wing-shaped bright green leaves with striking crimson-red centres and veins.

From April to June, elegant upright spikes carry delicate, star-shaped flowers that emerge from deep pink buds, opening pale pink before gradually fading to frothy white. The attractive foliage often develops rich bronze tones in autumn.

Forming a neat, compact clump approximately 25–35cm tall and 30–40cm wide, this hardy perennial thrives in partial to full shade, preferring fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

An excellent choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, ground cover, containers and planting alongside ferns, hostas and other shade-loving perennials, ‘Angel Wings’ provides beautiful foliage interest and a long-lasting spring display.
