Hosta ‘Sun Mouse’ – a compact sun-lover among the mouse ears. Reaching just 15–20 cm tall and wide, its thick, golden-centered leaves edged in green form neat, eye-catching clumps that brighten shady to lightly sunny spots. Thrives in moist, humus-rich soil in partial shade (can tolerate a bit of morning sun) and produces lavender flowers in summer that attract bees and other pollinators. Slow-growing and low-maintenance, it’s small, cheerful, and perfectly portable for borders or containers
