Hosta ‘Praying Hands’

Hosta ‘Praying Hands’ is a remarkable, shade-loving perennial, instantly recognisable by its unusual, upright foliage. The narrow, dark green leaves are tightly folded and twisted, with heavily rippled edges finely outlined in creamy yellow. Their distinctive shape resembles hands clasped in prayer, creating a striking architectural effect. Slender spikes of pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers appear in summer. Named American Hosta Society's Hosta of the Year in 2011.
