Hosta ‘Lakeside Little Tuft’ – Miniature Variegated Plantain Lily

Hosta ‘Lakeside Little Tuft’ is a charming deciduous, shade-loving perennial, prized for its small, slightly cupped, glossy dark green leaves with broad, creamy-yellow centres that gradually mature to creamy white. The attractive, gently rippled foliage forms a neat, upright mound, while slender stems carry clusters of purple, bell-shaped flowers in midsummer.

Growing approximately 15–20cm tall and 25–40cm wide, this miniature hosta thrives in partial to full shade, preferring fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

An excellent choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, containers, miniature hosta collections and planting alongside small ferns, ‘Lakeside Little Tuft’ provides beautiful foliage contrast from spring until autumn.
