Hosta 'Kiwi Spearmint'

Hosta ‘Kiwi Spearmint’

Hosta ‘Kiwi Spearmint’ is a distinctive deciduous, shade-loving perennial, prized for its narrow, beautifully twisted and wavy leaves that emerge almost pure white with contrasting dark green margins. As the season progresses, green veins and streaks develop through the white centres, creating an attractive, ever-changing pattern. In summer, slender flower stems carry delicate lavender-purple, bell-shaped flowers above the foliage.

Forming a compact mound approximately 20–30cm tall and 40–50cm wide, this unusual hosta thrives in partial to full shade, preferring fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

An excellent choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, containers and specialist hosta collections, ‘Kiwi Spearmint’ provides exceptional foliage interest throughout the growing season.
