Hosta 'Holy Mouse Ears' P9

Hosta ‘Holy Mouse Ears’ – Miniature Variegated Plantain Lily

Hosta ‘Holy Mouse Ears’ is a charming deciduous, shade-loving perennial, prized for its small, thick, rounded blue-green leaves with distinctive creamy-yellow centres that gradually mature to creamy white.

The beautifully patterned, slightly cupped foliage forms a neat, compact mound, while short, upright stems carry delicate pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers in summer.

Growing approximately 15cm tall and 30–40cm wide, this miniature hosta thrives in partial to full shade, preferring fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

An excellent choice for woodland gardens, miniature hosta collections, shaded containers, troughs and planting alongside small ferns, ‘Holy Mouse Ears’ provides striking foliage contrast from spring until autumn.
