Hosta 'August Moon' P11 (1.3 litre)

Hosta 'August Moon'

Hosta 'August Moon' is a stunning, medium to large, golden-leaved Hosta, prized for its broad, heart-shaped, deeply veined foliage. Emerging bright chartreuse-green in spring, the slightly puckered leaves mature to a beautiful golden-yellow, particularly when exposed to morning sunshine. Spikes of pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers rise above the foliage in summer, attracting bees and other pollinators.

Growing approximately 50cm tall and spreading 90–100cm wide, this Hosta thrives in partial shade, although it tolerates more sunshine than many varieties, provided the soil remains moist.

Ideal for woodland gardens, partially shaded borders, large containers and waterside planting, Hosta 'August Moon' brings vibrant golden foliage to shady areas. Its impressive leaves contrast beautifully with blue-leaved Hostas, ferns and other shade-loving perennials, making it an excellent choice for brightening darker corners of the garden.
