Geranium × cantabrigiense ‘Biokovo’ – Hardy Cranesbill

Geranium × cantabrigiense ‘Biokovo’ is a hardy, semi-evergreen perennial with white to very pale pink flowers and contrasting deep-pink stamens, appearing from May to July. Its rounded, lobed green leaves are pleasantly aromatic and develop attractive red tints in autumn.

Growing approximately 20–25 cm tall and spreading 60–100 cm wide, it forms low ground cover that helps suppress weeds.

Plant in sun or partial shade in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. It also tolerates shade and suits border edges, rock gardens and planting beneath shrubs. Water while establishing and avoid waterlogged conditions. Remove spent flower stems and tired leaves to encourage fresh growth.

‘Biokovo’ combines delicate flowers with dependable foliage, making it a useful choice for softening path edges and bringing gentle colour to woodland and cottage gardens.
