Brunnera macrophylla ‘Mister Morse’ is a refined, shade-loving perennial with a touch of quiet drama. It forms low, rounded mounds about 30–40 cm tall, with large, heart-shaped leaves beautifully dusted in silver with delicate green veining — like someone sketched on them with an exceptionally fine pencil.

In spring, it produces airy sprays of pure white, forget-me-not–style flowers, a pristine twist on the usual Brunnera blue. The contrast of white blooms over shimmering foliage gives it a wonderfully fresh, woodland feel.

It thrives in partial to full shade, preferring moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Once established, it’s tough, reliable, and remarkably tolerant of dryness — though it will happily accept a bit of extra water with the graciousness of a plant that knows its worth.
