Bletilla striata RHS AGM P9

A fabulous genus of hardy terrestrial orchids, easy to grow in moisture retentive soil in partial shade. They benefit from a mulch of leaf mould in the winter. Will grow about 2 foot, 60cm high, with spikes of either purple flowers in late spring/ summer.
