An extremely beautiful and very hardy orchid. The blue flowers bloom from late spring through to mid summer. It needs a semi-shaded spot with moisture retentive, fertile, well drained soil. Also excellent in containers. Flower stems have a number of blooms and are around 50-80cm high. The long leaves are also attractive, dying down completely in the autumn, emerging again around April.
