Anemone 'Dreaming Swan' 2 litre

nemone ‘Dreaming Swan’ – Japanese Anemone / Windflower

Anemone ‘Dreaming Swan’ is a beautiful, compact deciduous perennial, prized for its elegant, two-tone flowers and exceptionally long flowering season. From July to October, it produces an abundance of white flowers with striking lilac-blue undersides and golden-yellow centres, with blooms developing from single to semi-double as the season progresses. The delicate flowers are carried on slender, branching stems above attractive, deeply lobed green foliage.

Growing approximately 50–60cm tall and 50–60cm wide, this hardy, clump-forming anemone thrives in partial shade or gentle sun, preferring fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

An excellent choice for woodland edges, partially shaded borders, cottage gardens and containers, ‘Dreaming Swan’ combines beautifully with ferns, hostas and ornamental grasses, providing welcome colour from midsummer into autumn.
