Uvularia grandiflora 'Pallida' P11 (1.3 litre)

Uvularia grandiflora ‘Pallida’ – Pale Yellow Bellwort

Uvularia grandiflora ‘Pallida’ is a charming and unusual deciduous woodland perennial, admired for its delicate, nodding, pale lemon-yellow flowers that appear in spring. The slender, bell-shaped blooms have distinctive, slightly twisted petals and hang gracefully from arching stems clothed in fresh green, lance-shaped leaves.

Growing to approximately 60–75cm tall and 30–45cm wide, it gradually forms attractive clumps, bringing a wonderfully natural, understated elegance to shaded planting.

Grow in partial to full shade in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, preferably acidic to neutral.

Exceptionally hardy (RHS H7, below -20°C), ‘Pallida’ is ideal for woodland gardens, shady borders, naturalistic planting and beneath deciduous trees, where its soft spring flowers provide a beautiful contrast to emerging ferns and hostas.
