A naturally occurring hybrid from Georgia, USA to the Mississipi delta, S. Leucophylla hybrid with red flushed pitchers and light pink areoles (windows).
The pitchers grow to about 20cm (8"), the bright red flowers to around 60cm (2').
Easy to grow on a sunny windowsill (give it a couple of months cooler conditions in the winter in a sheltered bright spot outside) or outdoors in a sheltered, sunny or partly shaded spot outdoors. Keep in a saucer of rainwater or floating on a raft on a pond.
