Pseudophegopteris levingei 1 litre

Pseudophegopteris levingei syn. Phegopteris levingei

An unusual and elegant deciduous fern native to the Himalayas and East Asia, prized for its delicate, finely divided, pale green fronds. The attractive, lance-shaped foliage has a soft, feathery appearance, creating a wonderfully light and airy effect in shaded planting schemes. Spreading gradually by creeping rhizomes, it forms graceful colonies of fresh green foliage.

Growing approximately 60–80cm tall, Pseudophegopteris levingei thrives in partial to full shade, preferring moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil sheltered from drying winds. Keep consistently moist during the growing season.

A particularly desirable fern for collectors, woodland gardens, damp shady borders and naturalistic planting, combining beautifully with hostas, epimediums and other shade-loving perennials.
