Polygonatum verticillatum – a graceful woodland perennial with slender, arching stems and whorls of narrow green leaves, typically growing 60–90 cm tall. In late spring to early summer, it produces delicate, nodding, tubular greenish-white flowers along the stems, attracting bees and other pollinators.

Thrives in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil in partial to full shade, making it ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or naturalistic plantings. Slow-growing and low-maintenance, it adds vertical interest, subtle seasonal flowers, and a soft, elegant texture to shady corners of the garden.
