Hosta 'Touch of Class' P9

Hosta ‘Touch of Class’

Hosta ‘Touch of Class’ is a striking, medium-sized hosta, prized for its thick, heart-shaped, powdery blue-green leaves with contrasting golden-yellow centres. A distinctive sport of the popular ‘June’, its beautifully textured foliage has exceptionally broad blue margins surrounding narrow, irregular flashes of chartreuse-yellow. Elegant stems bearing pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers rise above the foliage in summer.

Growing approximately 35–40cm tall and 50–60cm wide, this exceptionally hardy, clump-forming hosta thrives in partial to full shade, preferring moist, fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Its unusually thick, substantial leaves provide excellent resistance to slug and snail damage.

An outstanding choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, containers and naturalistic planting, ‘Touch of Class’ provides dramatic foliage contrast throughout the growing season. Particularly effective alongside ferns and other shade-loving perennials.
