Hosta ‘Spring Morning’

Hosta ‘Spring Morning’ is a beautiful deciduous, shade-loving perennial, prized for its bright, yellow-green to lime-green leaves edged with irregular, creamy-white margins. The attractive foliage gradually developscontrasting white margins as the season progresses, the yellow green becoming more yellow, bringing welcome colour and brightness to shady gardens. In summer, elegant spikes of pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers rise above the foliage.

Forming a compact, spreading mound approximately 40–45cm tall and 50–60cm wide, this hardy hosta thrives in partial to full shade, preferring fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

An excellent choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, containers and planting alongside ferns and other shade-loving perennials, ‘Spring Morning’ provides outstanding foliage interest from spring until autumn.
