Hosta 'Colored Hulk' P11

Hosta ‘Colored Hulk’ – Variegated Plantain Lily

Hosta ‘Colored Hulk’ is an attractive deciduous, shade-loving perennial, prized for its thick, slightly cupped leaves with bright lime-green to yellow-green centres surrounded by broad, deep green margins. The contrasting foliage forms a handsome, compact mound, while elegant spikes of lavender-purple, bell-shaped flowers rise above the leaves during summer.

Growing approximately 35–40cm tall and 60–75cm wide, this hardy hosta thrives in partial or dappled shade, preferring fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

An excellent choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, containers and planting alongside ferns and other shade-loving perennials, ‘Colored Hulk’ provides bold foliage colour and texture from spring through autumn.
