Equisetum scirpoides - Dwarf Horsetail P9 (0.5l)

The smallest of the genus, this sprightly fellow will only grow up to 30cm in height. It is a non-invasive representative of this group and with its barred stems and dainty foliage this aquatic fern (yes, it is a fern!) is a no-trouble addition to boggy ground. It grows well as a pond marginal or, as I like to grow it, on a floating container holder.
