Cyclamen hederifolium ‘Album’ – White Ivy-leaved Cyclamen

Cyclamen hederifolium ‘Album’ is a charming hardy, autumn-flowering tuberous perennial, prized for its elegant, pure white flowers with gracefully swept-back petals, which appear from August to October. The flowers emerge before or alongside beautifully patterned, ivy-shaped leaves, marbled in shades of silver and green, providing attractive ground cover throughout winter and spring before the plant becomes dormant in summer.

Growing approximately 10–15cm tall and spreading 20–40cm, this long-lived cyclamen thrives in partial or dappled shade in humus-rich, well-drained soil, tolerating dry shade beneath deciduous trees once established.

An excellent choice for woodland gardens, shady borders, naturalising beneath trees and shrubs, rock gardens and autumn-flowering containers, it gradually forms attractive colonies and may self-seed in favourable conditions.
