Deciduous, Height 25-50cm. AGM.
These are grown from spore from the fronds of a pretty and unusual fern where the reduced pinnae resemble hand made lace, or Tatting. Originally discovered in Co. Wicklow in 1847, these ferns have fronds ranging from the lace like foliage pictured to Lady Fern fronds and everything inbetween. They are clumped so different varieties can be seperated if preffered. Prefers a moist soil but tolerates drier conditions once established. My made up name for a bit of fun experimenting with ferns!
