Evergreen, heigh to 15cm.
A superb and very rarely available plant with glossy, evergreen cyclamen like leaves and bold 7cm well marked purple flowers from April to May. Spreads when happy to make an effective and interesting ground cover for shady spots. Hardy, zones 6-9, it needs a good fertile well drained soil. Maintenance free!
This is also a good choice for terrariums.
