Asarum europaeum- European Hardy Ginger RHS AGM P9 (0.5 litre)

Evergreen, height to 15cm.

A superb, robust and very reliable ground cover plant for shade offering all year round greenery. The leaves are round and glossy. The red-purple flowers lowers appear March to April on the underside of the plant where they are pollinated by beetles, flies and small moths. Very hardy, as you'd expect from a Siberian native! it needs a good fertile well drained soil.
