Anemopsis californica

We're often asked for marginals and aquatic plants so here, just for you is a beautiful marginal plant for full sun. This fellow is very useful as a late flowerer in those really, really damp spots. It has white sweetly smelling flower spikes, often tinged with pink.The seeds are often used in necklaces, hence a common name of Apache Beads (this delight hails from the western half of North America from California up through Montana.) As an added bonus the leaves can take on autumnal shades of reds and oranges.
